RECENT testing by the Australian Fertiliser Services Association confirmed manufacturer Bogballe’s continual innovation means its fertiliser spreaders are spreading wider and more accurately than ever before.

With the cost of fertiliser being a big factor in the cost of crop production, it is important to know you are able to spread product exactly where you need it and not where you don’t.

This has been a driving factor for national importer Techgrow working with Danish company Bogballe to ensure spreaders are capable of delivering optimal results, providing accurate spread width and precise section control application, for an even distribution of product on headlands and to borders.

Comprehensive AFSA testing throughout 2023 showed this focus has been well spent, with the current model’s design allowing for an adjusted drop point and vane position, further enhancing the spread pattern to the desired width.

The spreaders functioned consistently, even with urea that tested at below-average quality, with smaller and softer granules.

This is fantastic news for Bogballe owners, and a testament to the company’s dedication to continual improvement.

The other major enhancement released at the recent Agritechnica Trade Show in Germany is the dynamic headland spreading function which utilises the existing section control system to switch between normal and headland spreading on the go, and to the right or left hand borders.

This system offers more flexibility, ensuring no matter the shape of the paddock, speed or direction of travel, a Bogballe spreader will achieve an even spread pattern across the entire paddock without throwing product past the fence line.

Techgrow has 3.5 tonne, 4.5 tonne and 6.0 tonne units available now; drop in to see them at 408 Main North Road, Clare, or call Jacob Kain on 0407 596 112 to find out more.
