Online webinar on low-interest loans
1 min read

THE Australian Government’s farm business lender Regional Investment Corporation will host a free Get RIC Ready online webinar next Wednesday, October 29, aimed at helping farmers understand how to apply for a RIC low-interest loan.

The session will provide practical guidance on loan features, eligibility criteria and the application process.

RIC chief executive John Howard said the webinar was designed for farmers as well as financial planners and accountants.

“RIC loans are for good farmers in tough financial times from events outside their control like drought or floods, as well as for first-time farmers and succession planning,” he said.

Loans could be used for capital expenditure, or to restructure and refinance existing debt, thereby improving cash flow for bills and operating expenses.

“In addition, they can help first farm businesses get established or help farmers complete succession arrangements,” Mr Howard said.

“Our free online webinar is aimed at farmers and agriculture industry professionals who want to find out more about our loan products, get helpful tips on how to apply and have their frequently asked RIC loan questions answered by our team.”

To register for the one-hour webinar, 11.30am to 12.30pm, and learn more about applying for a RIC loan, visit the RIC website’s events page.

A recording of the session will be emailed to registered participants after the event.

The webinar is being delivered in collaboration with Rural Business Support South Australia and Rural Financial Counselling Service Victoria West.
