“But that’s just the start, by combining the NTRIP network and New Holland Telematics, we can collect data from seeding, harvesting and spraying and help clients achieve their best results.
“All data is stored safely in a cloud-based system but it is accessible across their whole system, which makes it easier than some methods which involve saving the data to a USB and only having access from one terminal.”
Michael said the data collected through the Telematics system would be invaluable.
“It is not only guidance but technology that enables you to monitor and record, machine efficiency, moisture levels, topography, soil types, nitrogen, pH and crop yields and much more, giving you valuable information so fertiliser rates, sprays and even machinery use can be applied at the optimal time resulting in the best outcome, “ he said.

“With the latest guidance systems set up in my ute and utilising our RTK network, I am able to map a client’s farms giving them accurate boundaries and AB lines, this is key to collecting data.
“We can then set clients up with MYNewholland portal access and help them collect farming data and manage all their paddock and guidance data across their whole fleet
“It helps performance across the board — from your equipment to efficiency, lower input costs and increased returns.
“We started it about 12 months ago, it’s really just grown since then.
“We have many New Holland clients using Vater RTK and can fit this system to any make or model machine.”
