Recent testing by the Australian Fertiliser Services Association has confirmed that continual innovation by Bogballe has its spreaders spreading wider and more accurately than ever before.

With the cost of fertiliser being such a factor in the cost of crop production, it is important  to know that you are able to spread product exactly where you need it and not where you don’t.

This has been a driving factor for Australian importer Techgrow working with Bogballe (Denmark) to ensure their spreaders are capable of delivering optimal results for farmers in terms of accuracy, and precise section control application for an even distribution of product on headlands and borders.

Comprehensive testing with AFSA proved this focus has been well spent.

The current models’ design allows for an adjusted drop point and vane position which yield a further enhanced spread pattern to the farmer’s desired operating width.

Importantly, this was proven even with urea product which tested at below average quality, having on average smaller and softer granules than generally seen by Techgrow in the past.

This is fantastic news for Bogballe owners and a testament to the dedication of the company to continual improvement.

The other major enhancement released at the recent Agritechnica Trade Show in Hanover, Germany, is the Dynamic Headland Spreading function which utilises the existing Section Control system to switch between normal and headland spreading on the go, and to the right or left side border.

This system offers more flexibility for farmers, ensuring that no matter the shape of the paddock, the speed or direction of travel, a Bogballe spreader will intuitively achieve an even spread across the entire paddock without throwing product past the fence line.

Techgrow has 3.5 tonne, 4.5 tonne and 6.0 tonne units available now, so drop in to see them at 408 Main North Road, Clare, or call Jacob Kain on 0407 596 112 to find out more.
