AS farmers look at making long term investments in quality machinery to maximise the potential of their land, the Boss Agriculture name is quickly becoming prevalent throughout South Australia.

With a focus on tailoring disc or tyne units specifically to a farmer’s soil requirements, Boss Seeders achieve incredibly accurate and consistent seed placement, resulting in optimal crop establishment.

Flexibility in frame options and design also allows further customisation, all aimed at providing the perfect solution for each farmer.

Due to the level of customisation available, local dealer Techgrow is working closely with farmers to configure each unit to their requirements.

“We have found the collaborative design process works well as we are able to make sure the farmer gets the unit they need for their operation,” Techgrow’s regional sales manager Jacob Kain said.

“We often find there are some design or setup adjustments which will dramatically enhance the performance of the seeder on their property.”

Techgrow’s demonstration unit, with five different disc and tyne row units attached, is busy around the region.

The unit has a viewing platform on the back, allowing farmers to get up close and personal to see how the different row units work and perform in their own soil.

“It is fantastic to be able to see the different row units running side by side up close,” Mr Kain said.

“Farmers can quickly see the benefits of different row unit configurations, and understand how they may benefit their own operation.”

Techgrow is planning a comprehensive demonstration program during the coming months, and will be at 810 Alford West Road with the Boss Agriculture Team during the YP Field Days,
Paskeville.
